Deborah has substantial technical and managerial experience developed during
a long career with IBM. She became famous for leading the team which first
brought the highly-reputed results service to the Wimbledon tennis championships.
An enhanced and extended version continues to provide the statistical support
to TV producers, commentators, journalists and players.
Among many other major, if less visible, projects, she managed the writing
and production of complex proposal documents. This culminated in the publication
of a highly-regarded guide to preparing a multi-author proposal in a tight
time-frame. She capitalised on her project management experience by leading
a team of senior professionals assessing the quality and viability of proposals,
and reviewing the performance of ongoing projects. Recently she has reviewed
a number of critical projects and contracts for clients.
With her wealth of experience and calm, assured approach, Deborah has also
taught well-received project management courses.
Deborah has PRINCE2 and PMI project management qualifications, an Open University
management qualification, and a first-class degree in mathematics.
