Large bids present a project management challenge for many organisations, and creating the right business processes and structures to cope with bidding is a growing area.

John Bartlett specialises in project management and business change for public and private sector clients throughout Europe. He enjoyed a long career at IBM UK Ltd. and was Head of Project Management for the UK and Ireland at DMR Consulting Group. Latterly, he was Director of Technology Services at NCR Ltd.

He is a Fellow of the Association for Project Management, an APM Certificated Project Manager and has published many books and papers, which include Right First and Every Time – Managing Quality for Projects and Programmes (2005), Managing Risk for Projects and Programmes (2002), Managing Programmes of Business Change (1997, 1999, 2001, 2006) and Management of Programme Risk (pub. TSO, 1995)
