What is bid & tender training?
Usually classroom-based training. This is very flexible; we have even run a masterclass for a single individual.
All our classes and workshops are highly practical; in fact everything we teach comes from our own experience. What we teach –
works!
We offer classes in several subject areas, and tailor our classes to client requirements:
- Creating a Winning Proposal – how to read between the lines of the client’s documentation, set an appropriate strategy, create win themes and mastermind a proposal that sells.
- Writing for Proposals – the specialist writing skills needed for proposals. This includes writing different sections of the document, such as technical solutions, value propositions and executive summaries.
- Writing for Business – general writing skills for everyday use. This can include writing letters and emails, reports and small proposals.
- Confidence in Business – a class for younger professionals, which uses Neuro Linguistic Programming to help them understand their clients, and project confidence and professionalism.
How it works
Calyx prepares and delivers a tailored training class according to client needs. Classes are often held on client premises to contain costs. We can also source venues where needed, such as when there is a need to get away from office distractions.
What you get
A class based on your own proposals and documents where appropriate. We supply training materials so that participants will have access to them when they are back doing their everyday work. You will go back to the office with a set of practical models, templates and tools that will greatly improve your chances of winning in tenders and bids.
